To ask if anyone has had cataract surgery with one near eye and one for distance - with TWO diopters between them?

Just that really

Ive been told NOT to do more than one diopter because that's what Im used to in my contact lenses ... but my surgeon is suggesting going for perfect long distance which is a TWO DIOPTER difference!

Will my eyes adapt, or is it better to go for ONE diopter which would mean less good distance vision?

I’ve tried out a difference of 1.5 with contact lenses which was absolutely fine.

I don’t know if some people tolerate it better than others though?

This is good to here - thank you! And I think you are right.

Any others?
