Semi inspired by another thread but I'm curious what other people think.

Ok I’ve just seen your other pics on the previous page and now I’m thinking from the South of Iran/Persia?
Or Afghanistan/Azerbaijan? Dark eyes, very light olive skin with a golden time, coppery tint to hair, high cheekbones, facial features.

I still think maybe mixed with European genes eg Polish?

Interesting. I have a similar look to you (with lighter hair).I’ve had people come up and speak Greek to me and others insist I must have Eastern European ancestry.

My full sister did an Ancestry DNA test and it came out mostly English with some Irish and other Western European DNA. Pretty much what I expected considering I can trace the ships my ancestors came to Australia on from England.

MIL know which ship her male ancestor travelled from Spain to South America as a Conquistador but there's clearly a lot of native (female) blood in her as well. If you know what to look for Hispanic/Latinos look very different to the Spanish.

Wow, I didn't know about the Jewish thing. Really love that you have posted this actually. I don't really understand about the indigenous Mexican Native American thing either actually I thought that was 2 different areas? I am going to google it now to learn more but if you could expand more on that side of your family history I would be really interested to hear your story. You have said you should be a darker skin colour, do you have any siblings that are different? Xxxxx

Well people outside the US call the whole continent "America" (from Canada to Argentina) but this is most certainly true in LatAm. So to us, all indigenous people are native to "America" thus Native American. In Mexico in particular many "tribes" we prefer the word "culture" overlap (the same in the south).

I'm fairer skinned than both my parents. My DM (who's the Jewish side) is proper olive skin whereas my dad is proper copper skin. My sister is slightly darker but not by much either.

Ooooh I may do this. No one ever knows where I’m from. I’m not mixed race but my parents are immigrants. Strangely people from the place where I’m from (a part of a country) can tell instantly where I’m from.
