Has anyone managed to change their 4 month olds sleep pattern or at least get them in to a decent routine?
My son just sleeps when he wants which is fine but I can't ever plan anything because I never know when he'll sleep.
At the moment he sleeps late in the morning (still asleep now) but is then awake until 2 or 3 in the morning.
I have no idea what will happen when he starts childcare 2 mornings a week because at the moment it seems I'll just be paying for someone to watch him sleep.
I'd love him in a routine where he goes to sleep at a decent time and sleeps to a decent time. Anyone able to give me some advice about how to get his sleep sorted? I'm trying to get a routine going at bedtime but struggling due to my older children having evening activities and my husband who agrees his sleep needs sorting but is too tired in the evening to actually help out.

I made a roster. When to feed, when to sleep. And i used to wake my babies up if they slept too long. Most mums of my mothersgroup frowned at this. But my kid was the only kid of our group who slept 12hrs straight from the age of 8 weeks.

It will feel counterintuitive but it works. And i prefered sleeping kids at night vs letting them sleep during the day😊.
