I had some treatments over the summer for a sore back from a sports therapist which worked quite well. He asked me to make an appointment for a follow up in a couple of months time but 2 weeks beforehand, I realised I couldn't make it and phoned to change the appointment.
Couldn't get through to him so left a voice message and also sent him an email. Several days later he phoned me to say he didn't have any other appointments and made a point of saying he was busy and had been working his way through other appointments and so left "the least important til last". I thanked him and the call ended.
It was only later that I thought about how rude he had been. Why say that? Anyway, thought nothing of it until 6 weeks later, my back is a little stiff again and thought I would book another appointment. Got through to him but he had nothing as he was going on holiday a few days later, no problem says I and gets off the phone as he starts rambling on in a similar manner to before.
Two days later, at the weekend, my phone goes and its him. Some gut instinct told me not to answer so I didn't and the voice message he left told me he had "dialled my number by mistake".
Nothing that odd, its just that I have an odd feeling about it and I can't explain why. It just seems to be some excuse to be very negative towards me. I'm a fit, sporty person who isn't hard to treat and who responds well to any physical therapy.
