To be worried

I have been taking the pill (logynon) for 14 years with two breaks to conceive.

It's always been straight forward. 21 days of pills. 7 days pill free during which time I have a period.

Never any bleeding at any other time.

I have two pills left on this strip before I am due on when I will have 7 days pill free.

I have had some very mild spotting only when wiping since yesterday.

Anyone had this happen out of nowhere?

Just a bit unnerved as it's never happened to me before!

Hi I was also on logynon for around 14 years before having my daughter, I used to sometimes get this if I had doubled up the packs to skip the previous period. If you’re worried try and speak to your doctor or nurse though.

I've not doubled up and definitely not missed any! It's only happened to be when I've doubled up and I knew to expect it.

I will sit tight and see what happens when I'm due on my actual period. It's barely anything but still enough to notice.

I also have a smear already booked in so I suppose that would cover anything majorly sinister and I can talk to the nurse then about it.

Anything out of the ordinary like this freaks me out!
