To ask if positive covid results take longer to come through than negative?

I am booked for a covid test this am and im pretty sure I have covid. I'm just wondering if those with positive covid results got their results a lot later than those who were negative?

My partner tested positive 5 days ago, I tested the next day. I tested negative and both results were around 21/22 hours. I think from what I’ve seen it makes no difference if it’s negative or positive in terms of timing. However only speaking from my experience.

I had a COVID test Saturday morning and still waiting.

My sons work colleague got tested 11.30 pm last Monday, got positive result the next morning at around 10 am. My son got tested Tuesday, got negative result Thursday evening. A friend waited 6 days for her positive result.
