I'm dithering about in bed on my phone and noticed it says 1.55.

But have the clocks changed already?

Is it 1.55am with clocks changed or 12.55 and clocks still to change?

itsBoooisntit · 25/10/2020 01:57

And I've just realised I've no clocks or watches in my bedroom!

DowntonCrabby · 25/10/2020 01:57

They’ve not changed yet, at “2am” it’ll turn back to 1am.

itsBoooisntit · 25/10/2020 01:58

Oooh. I'm going to watch my phone and see what happens in 2 minutes

OP posts:
GlummyMcGlummerson · 25/10/2020 01:58

2 minutes and counting!
So DS will get up at 5.30 instead of 6.30. Hurrah Hmm

DowntonCrabby · 25/10/2020 01:59

Me too, it’ll be as exciting as 2020 has got so far Grin

QueenPaws · 25/10/2020 01:59

It's worst when you're at work and it goes 1.59am - 1am!

itsBoooisntit · 25/10/2020 01:00

Wow. That was oddly very exciting

vodkaredbullgirl · 25/10/2020 01:00

They can't make you work the extra hour surely?! Are they at least paying you?
PebblesAndBamBam · 25/10/2020 01:01

Well, that was magical.

If it helps @GlummyMcGlummerson, DD will be up at half 4 instead of half 5.

Sh0ck3d · 25/10/2020 01:01

Wasn't it!? Grin

Thanks for the reminder!

alexdgr8 · 25/10/2020 01:01

it's 01:01 here now. GMT. i hope.

itsBoooisntit · 25/10/2020 01:02

I didn't know it changed at 2am. I've learnt something new and seen something new.

Ah, who says it's been a boring year.

"Oh but just put them to bed an hour earlier", people say.

Will he go to bed at 6pm instead of 7pm?
Will. He. Fuck

Active threads are messed up now.

QueenPaws · 25/10/2020 10:19

Luckily I have left and now work civilised hours Grin

Oh, wow, that sucks. Biggest wonder anyone works for them at all!

WhataFarce76 · 25/10/2020 11:13

You don't usually get paid any extra because you gain the hour back when the clocks go forward? Swings and roundabouts. Must be a nightmare for those people it affects though!
Does anyone get paid extra?

Only if you happen to be on shift when the clocks go forward though? Do they plan that in advance?
QueenPaws · 25/10/2020 11:23

Depends if you work the shift where you gain the hour. Mine fell for 9 years when the hour went back (I also copped for Christmas, Boxing Day, and NY for 8 years...)
