I was called a "tough cookie" by a midwife during my pregnancy when I'd been hospitalised for months and thought I was just completely failing at parenthood before I'd even started.

So much. Buy shares, remember lottery numbers, get better grades...

If you could go back in time where would you go?
I'd go back to about 4 years old and relive my life up to the present but do things to make my life easier - like get top grades etc.

You're not destined for anything - you have to fight to be a winner

Honestly, where I am. In bed with my DS asleep - although I wish DH was here rather than still out doing work.

Death - my loved ones and myself (not very light I know, sorry!).

Bit of a short fuse, wish I was a bit more laid back

Black and white thinking, refusal to recognise nuance or see bigger picture.

A collection of vintage books my late gran gave for me. They were hers when she was a child in the 30s/40s.

What would your superpower be?
Pause time like in Bernard’s Watch. Would be wonderful to have more time to do everything I need (and maybe a cheeky nap when I’m running behind).

My nose is a bit snouty.

Both are good if done well.

Jumped between an author, doctor and detective.

Aside from when my DP first told me he loved me, someone once told me I had a calming influence. I feel quite highly strung and chaotic a lot of the time so it really stuck with me.

Kettle chips. Cocktail sausages. Bad horror movies. I have many.

If you could edit your past what would you change?
I generally believe our pasts make us who we are. I have no major regrets but I was a bit of a goody two shoes at school and uni, I wish I could’ve loosened up a bit.

If you could go back in time where would you go?
Assuming it was easy to jump back to the present again, I’d love a peek at ancient Egypt or Rome.

How would you like to be remembered?
Kind, compassionate, loved.

What has life taught you?
You can plan as much as you like and it helps sometimes, but you never know what’s next and sometimes you just need to roll with the punches. Also you can’t control how others act or perceive you, only your own behaviour.

Where would you most like to be right now?
Leaving a pub after last orders with friends I haven’t seen all year after a long catch up and laugh after a bottle of wine.

Where do I start... probably my body, have had issues with weight ever since I was a teen, though finished pregnancy with DD in July about 12kg lighter than when I first got pregnant with DS (lost at 18 weeks) 2 years ago from a combination of nausea/grief/depression/diabetic diet/bed rest/medication toxicity...!!!

Definitely give... buying presents for people is one of my greatest pleasures in life

What did you want to be growing up?
A doctor... which is what I became!

Ordering room service when away... DH agrees! Something about food coming to you and being able to eat in bed (not allowed growing up and now at home)

I would have my teen self not believe that she's fat... it ruined my self esteem and became a self fulfilling prophecy in the end

I don't think I'd want to go back in time... I like modern technology and conveniences too much!

Nothing. Because even though I’ve had bad experiences and done things that weren’t good choices, I ended up meeting my husband. That helped me be at peace with my life up til then, because if one thing had happened differently I might not have met him. Every bad moment and wrong choice makes sense if it was part of my path to him.
