I raise you: www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-64162665.html

(I once stayed here as it is a B&B)

I saw it featured in the Times, which was how I knew it was for sale.

Missandra · 22/10/2020 16:01

Is this your house that your trying to sell?

newnamesameold · 22/10/2020 16:03

Wowzers to both!

Whatisgoingdown · 22/10/2020 16:03

@Missandra I wish. I don't think I'd be selling it if it were mine.
I've just watched Escape to the Country so I'm looking at house porn Grin

I couldn't live in an ex church. It would give me the heeby jeebies. Those are beautiful renovations, though.

LavaCake · 22/10/2020 16:08

It’s lush! I would love to live in a converted church.

HappyHoppyHippo · 22/10/2020 16:13

Oh wow!! 😱

Whatisgoingdown · 22/10/2020 16:15

I'd love to live in a converted church too, so much history.

Why is this in AIBU?

citycitycity · 22/10/2020 16:26

All three of those are amazing and, unusual for property pots, affordable!

citycitycity · 22/10/2020 16:26

*property porn

HappyDinosaur · 22/10/2020 16:28

It's not my cup of tea, but is quite impressive to look at.

Mammylamb · 22/10/2020 16:28

There should be a law which makes floor plans on house listings mandatory! How else can I work out where everything should go in my dream house that I’ll never be able to afford

CuriousaboutSamphire · 22/10/2020 16:33

It's quite a bit more remote than Google maps suggests. Lovely place but you'd be quite isolated in bad winters... and the lowlands flood very regularly.

I drove past it yesterday... I live that detour, all the wiggly roads out of the forest !!

HoneysuckIejasmine · 22/10/2020 16:37

Oh no, I couldn't live in a converted church. It's not right and I'd be nervous to do any gardening!

LadyPenelope68 · 22/10/2020 16:39

Absolutely stunning and I have a feeling that’s been on a George Clarke programme or Grand Designs, not sure which.

arethereanyleftatall · 22/10/2020 16:43

Oh my, I need to move from the Home Counties. That price will get you a 2bed flat where I live. It's gorgeous.
