Just had a sniff, vague whiff of horse poo. Her head smells lovely and doggy and warm, I sniff my dogs head the way others sniff their newborns heads.

Aw this just made me remember the smell of my DDogs feet. Like biscuits mixed in with grass. I used to lie next to him and smell them all the time. Was so comforting.

My son has always said that the dog's feet smell of biscuits!

I absolutely adore the smell of our dog's paws , popcorn and biscuits is the perfect description . I frequently sniff their paws and most dog owning friends are the same. It's very comforting

My old girls feet (hairy hobbit feet as she got older!) always smelt of digestive biscuits too!

I sniff puppies heads they smell lovely and it makes me puppy broody

Have never tried smelling my dog's feet and at the moment she's asleep under a table so her feet are hidden.

I do sniff her tummy though and it's all warm and comforting and smells of warm clean dog.

Ours smells of really sweet biscuits. Every time I say this to anyone they look at me like I’m a loon

Her feet smell like heaven. Grassy with a hint of horse/horse breath.

If I’m ever stressed we cuddle up and I sniff her feet. Instant happy. She loves the smell of my feet after a hard day at work.

I hope I smell like popcorn or digestives. But I doubt it

@potionqueen - so does it matter about dogs having bacteria on their feet ( none of our family seem to have been ill because dog /feet /bacteria / outside pavement disease .) And if it does matter what do you do about it - wipes , washing - how often?

My little dog's head and his ears smell of biscuits too - other one slightly more biscuits crossed with grass. I swear I could tell the two of them apart by smell only ( both same breed)

Never smelled his feet. I notice he sniffs his toes after he’s scratched inside his ears though
