Ok so we have bought Christmas decorations, baubles etc for an outside tree for our business. And stupidly just dawned on me that they aren't weather proof! Has anyone any recommendations or advice for sprays to make them weather proof. I tested one ona. Small bauble and the bauble went soft! Confused

Clear gloss varnish should do it, you can get spray cans which would be much easier. Couple of coats to make sure they are sealed

Just make sure you check it’s suitable for outdoors. Amazon have a good range

Thank you. Wasn't sure what it was called! Will have a look today

Yacht varnish might work and is cheap as chips from Wilkos

Use them inside and but proper outdoor ones for outside.

If you use them or treat them they’ll look gash after a year and you’ll bin them, so save the waste and don’t ruin them to start with.

I've been putting indoor baubles outside for years.

You could try using a clear finishing spray like you can buy for craft projects. A good coating would make them more or less waterproof.

Thanks everyone.

I'm clueless. We don't celebrate Christmas but this is for customers so it's all new to us!
