It should be easy to get anything delivered anywhere in the world with google right?

Do I need to be able to speak German to find a proper German site to deliver within Germany? Wine based. Everywhere from UK to Germany charges so much!!!

The vast majority of Germans speak at least little English.
Also, Google will translate webpages for you...
Found this with a quick Google.

I’m a bit confused by your message but if you want a good German website that delivers wine then I can recommend this one:

www.silkes-weinkeller.de/bestseller/?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIg5z_jK_G7AIVFu3tCh0CqgLgEAAYASAAEgLxJ_D_BwE

Free delivery in DE over €120 so you would need to buy a couple of cases. Hopefully you’re not after just one bottle?

@chloechloe I'm after lots of cases. Just don't want to waste money on postage of mediocre stuff from here as I know they have amazing wines! Thank you so much. My sister is living there in a proper locked down area - just want to send some joy

What a lovely idea! In that case I would really recommend that site, we buy most of our wine from there as it has decent stuff at a good price. They often have offers too so if for example you like a particular grape you can get a mixed box of different wines.

Thank you both very much for your help, I have managed to order a bumper parcel and get it shipped from this website. She is in proper lockdown and because they have no work and are self-employed, can't even afford wine it's a very long winter alone like that so she will be well pleased 😀

That's a really nice thing of you to do! I'm sure your sister will really appreciate it!

babasaclover · 28/10/2020 14:47

@ZorbaTheHoarder we've got to spread the joy somehow, it's not like I'll be getting to see her any time soon 😭😭😭
