AIBU about the standard of my decorator??

Hello
I recently decided to decorate a few rooms in our house which needed a refresh. We got a decorating firm in who sent 2 guys round to do the job.
I have only once before had a decorator, I usually do myself but not more than one room at a time! I am after some advice as to whether I am expecting too much.
If it was me I would fill any crack, dent, chip in the wall and woodwork, sand any little ‘bobbly’ bits off the wall, edge in really carefully. Our decorator does fill and sand but not to the detail I would. I have had to ask him to redo bits on many occasions to the point where my partner is getting very frustrated with me and it’s causing argument. I just want it to be perfect. Some of the paintwork has also been questionable with edging in and in every room we have gone for a different colour so it clearly visible where the colour ‘meets’ a white ceiling. I know they are on a time limit but I still want it done to a certain standard rather than just whacking the paint in the walls. AIBU or is this the case with all decorators?

No it's not, that sounds awful. I'd be having words with the Decorator. Tell him that either he fixes it to an acceptable standard or you pay him less than agreed.

Why is your DH getting annoyed with you?! Why can't he speak to the decorator? Is it solely your job?!?
