AIBU to suspect sudden skin reaction is linked to antibiotics

So in a nutshell.. I've been wearing my Fitbit for months, absolutely no skin irritation whatsoever.

After taking a course of antibiotics the strap of the Fitbit is now causing an allergy type rash... AIBU to think that this is caused by the result of taking antibiotics?

Can't think of any other reason why this should suddenly happen, I have to be careful as if my skin breaks it can get easily infected again.

Is it reasonable to think this is possible?

I think antibiotics can cause hypersensitivity but it might be a good idea to mention it to your doctor as rarely these kinds of reactions can be a sign of something more serious.

Hypersensitivity... That was the word I couldn't think of. I'll definitely keep an eye on things.
