... than when they're younger? My son is nearly 2, his molars are coming through. He's had Calpol. He's inconsolable. Hitting his mouth and screaming. Don't know what to do and I'm exhausted as he's been up all night. He's been like this for 2 days. Any ideas re how I can help him?

I find nurofen better for teething pain. DS is 20 months and got his canines coming through Sad

Will get my mum to pick up some nurofen before she pops over later thank you.

Anbesol liquid on the gums is worth a try. And yes, teething in two year olds is hell. DS used to be either awake for hours in the night or start the day at 5am. Hang on in there!

Yeah it's definitely a lot worse. Nurofen is way better than Calpol for teething though and you can give it in conjunction with Calpol to keep them topped up.
