just that really - there's one near me but I've never been into it - is it good, is it expensive, do you use it? Looking for recommendations

I use them for my online deliveries. Delivery is free if you order over £35 and they always have plenty of availability. They do fresh stuff as well as frozen. Much cheaper for frozen products than other supermarkets. They don't have as much choice of fresh products than my local Asda. I've only ever had one problem with my delivery and they were quick to sort it when I phoned.

I do live close to their head office and know people who work there. I've only heard positive things from people who work there.

Personally it’s the only online supermarket I use as it takes PayPal rather than registering through a UK bank account which I don’t have.
I have no complaints about the range and quality, both fresh and frozen. Obviously I avoid the 99p ready meals, nothing good can be that cheap...

They always arrive within 15 minutes of the delivery window starting and the drivers are all pleasant and helpful.
Their Saver Card is excellent. £1 for every £20 you put on it. That’s 5%, better than a bank!

I find Iceland, much like Farmfoods, focuses on frozen, but is really pretty good at most grocery things other than salad stuff and fruits. Others have already mentioned most of our favourites. They were a big help here over lockdown.

I also did a Traditional Christmas Dinner for four teenagers on 5th December (!) last year and everything, including a 3 kilo frozen turkey, came from Iceland for about £35.

I mostly use it for heavy stuff.Like water, bulky toilet roll for delivery.

But i do go every couple of weeks and stock up my freezer. They have TGI Fridays range now.

Theres nothing in it i dont like.

thank you to everyone who replied!! sorry, it was an odd post I suppose - it's in the main street where I am and I don't know where to park to get into it, and so I haven't been in properly yet and OMG I remember Bejams lol... must be old ha ha. I remember my mother going in there but it was just rows and rows of freezer cabinets. I remember these little miniature icecreams that had different centres - they were like chocolates but were ice cream. I'll check it out - thank you everyone!

I don't really use Iceland but when I did I brought some fresh chicken. I wouldn't again.

Duck spring rolls are great and I also buy a big box of nibbly things to have when I make an Indian meal.

You can have a look on their website (apologies if it’s mentioned already).
I like their frozen fish range and frozen vegetables, especially baby carrots and butternut squash. Fish fingers are nice. They often have Rich tea biscuits, coffee, Hellman’s mayo on offer.
Iceland saved us in lockdown once so I was very grateful.

They are great for next day delivery
