To think 2021 holidays are doomed?

Been on the phone to TUI again this morning trying to find out if the free amendment policy is going to be extended past April. They're insistent everything will be normal. Surely not? How with everything ramping up again can 2021 holidays possibly go ahead?

We've been rebooking our cancelled 2020 summer holiday for July 2021. We were supposed to be doing a road trip around several European countries, which is probably not such a good idea in current climate but we're still hanging on to it. I've been booking some better hotels than we had the first time round on booking.com.with free cancellation. We haven't rebooked our ferries yet though we have the voucher codes.
I don't know. I have started to think that maybe everything won't be right until 2022 and it might be better to book something remote in the UK. I did mention this to the family the other day but it wasn't favourably received. With the age of our kids it could be our last family holiday so it's all a big shame

I was in town yesterday and the thing that struck me was the travel agents advertising holidays for 2022. Yep, 2022, not even 2021 .

I’ve always booked 2 weeks - month before and will do the same, so book in July for an August break

Dh still hopeful for skiing this winter. Not booking to January though.

We are hoping to go to Vegas next August for a wedding. We have not been away at all this year. I really hope we get to go. My neighbours have been abroad three times this year already.
