To take the aloe Vera!

I don’t think I am but then I’m getting little twinges of guilt thinking what I’ve done is a bit immoral... Blush

I was walking my dog today and she found and brought back me an Aloe Vera plant!
It was in a black nursery pot and in a bad way.
It’s outer leaves were all black and squishy from the cold, wet weather but inside it looked healthy.

I’ve wanted an Aloe Vera plant for ages and it’s a good size one!
So I’ve taken it home and going to lovingly cut off it’s damaged leaves and repot it by a nice sunny window.

But it’s obviously not mine, someone obviously paid money for it.

I don’t know where the dog pinched it from but there were no open gardens where we were and anyway, it would have died if if left it outside...

WIBU?

It’s a little gift from your thieving doggy the universe.

Enjoy!

Is it wrong that I actually did say a little thank you to the sky on the very teeny chance it was God or whoever answering my prayers for an Aloe Vera 🤣🤣

Nope, I do that all the time Smile

Some Forever Living bot was probably using it for a snapchat background prop and chucked it out when they half killed it.Sad
You and your excellent dog are saving the life of a living thing and possibly even rescuing it from an abusive MLM relationship! Win, win all round ! Halo

If they let it get into a state then clearly they didn't care enough about the plant and don't deserve it.

Here is Arnie the Aloe Vera in his new home 😊
He doesn’t look very handsome right now as I’ve had to cut off his damaged leaves and i have to buy him a proper pot on Monday.

What exactly would your other options be if you don’t know where the dog got it from?

Just leave it lying around next to the path I guess, like people do with teddies and baby shoes and the like 🤷‍♀️
Bit silly I suppose!
