My DSD was asked to self isolate as there was a positive case in her bubble. Their DM asked for them to stay with us on and off during that period, but that she understood if we couldn't. So then I try to liaise with our nanny and my exH (about our DD) to check what was their position regarding all of this. Both said that they were uncomfortable with being exposed (completely agree!) So then we told my SKs DM that to be fair with all children we could take them.from next Wednesday.
A few hours later there was a massive phone call fight because we were being unreasonable for doing so, that we were giving preference to my DD and that we were being OTT for cancelling a HT break. She even called my exH. I do think what we said we'd do was reasonable? I'm still annoyed she called my exH, he's taken it graciously but that was uncalled for.
