To ask what is something you never thought you would say or celebrate pre kids?

For example today my partner and I have been cheering and saying "Yay you pooped" because our constipated 2 month old has finally pooped after a night of fussing and crying. Pre having a baby I never thought that would happen!

What have you said or celebrated that has surprised you?

I will think more but one thing I do get now is for birthday and Christmas a drawing/painting or some random thing DS has chosen or even a hug genuinely is enough for me.

It's bodily functions all the way OP.

Also lovely things that DS is doing. He's 22mo and developing really quickly at the moment so most weeks it's something new.

I was just coming on to say about pooping celebrations! Followed by an in depth discussion about size and consistency and whether we think it's all out or if there is more to come... (constipated 11 month old)

Pooping celebrations are a definite. I said to dh today "my super power is potty training children". I'm not super mum in every respect but both my dds have got potty training down so quickly and without fuss and I'm taking a bit if credit for it.
