noise outside is annoying but, fraid so, you are being unreasonable if they aren't being violent or antisocial. sounds like they are just being teenagers?
im feeling uptight cos fireworks are being let off and im worrying it will wake the baby, but thats living in an inner city for you.

I sympathize. I havent has the teenagers but we do have a couple of nuisance dogs nearby and kids on noisy scooters.Oh and the fireworks that go off for the whole of Autumn. If I were you I would put some background music on or report it to the police, I would not go out there tho. Are the little ones ok?

MaeBee · 12/10/2007 20:03

don't call the police if they aren't doing anything illegal!
when i was a teenager i was definately out and being noisy at 8! thats still pretty early.

being good humoured is always a good approach.

go out and ask in a friendly way if they could do you a favour...what? "could you just move up/down the road whilst i get the kids to sleep. i know you aren't doing any harm" etc etc. If you treat them with respect they will reciprocate and not come back ime

good luck
