Do I need to isolate?

So my daughter (2) has a snotty nose and has coughed a little as she can't blow her nose, should I isolate? I have kept her off nursery today anyway as she puked up her milk this morning, sick was all mucussy. She hasn't had a temperature.

I believe it's only if they have a high temp or continuous cough (4+ hours)

Or loss of taste/smell but I doubt she'll be able to tell you that one. Hope she's better soon!

No, the little cough she has that you have explained is mucus which isnt covid and no temp etc if she is enjoying oreos and milkyways i think you are safe :)

If he cough continues, regardless of what you think the cause is, you should get her a test and isolate. If her cough has now subsided it's fine.

Sounds like the head cold my 3 have had.

Very snotty and a slight cough due to mucus. Seems take a week to go.

If she has a temperature, loss of taste/smell or continuous cough, then she needs a test. Otherwise, she's fine.

@Clutterbugsmum sounds the same, I used a nasal aspiratior and the amount of snot that came out was just gross.

@vanillandhoney wouldn't even know how to define a continuous cough. She just had little light coughs earlier, you know the ones that sound almost fake.
