Bleeding. Worried. Ruining my life.

I've been having discomfort around my ovaries for 4 years. Not a massive pain but it just feels mildly sore or irritated. Mainly my left. It's been checked three times and everything looks clear. Yet this naggy pulling sensation is often there. Definitely worsens with ovulation. I have heavy periods. I often feel sickly.

I tried the mini pill in march for six weeks. I bled and bled. Since coming of that I've had headaches every month and stronger pmt. I feel unwell midcycle and spot and feel rubbish for a couple of days.

Today (3 days after ovulation) ovary area is still feeling mildly irritated. I did a plank after my shower and a strange pain shot through that area. I stopped. Went downstairs and Started cooking tea. Felt something down there. Went upstairs and there was loads of blood . I got tissue and wiped it away.

I've been having trouble all year but the gps don't have much to offer me now as there's only hormones or transexamic acid. But this is really starting to scare me. I often don't feel quite right.

It's also getting me down because I'm getting to know someone. It's very early days and basic friendship but I am starting to think I'm going to have to let the opportunity pass because how can I have an intimate relationship with anyone. Also due to being so up and down with how well I feel I can't make plans.

My body is ruining my life.

Any experiences?

I had a smear that showed cin3 level changes and once I had the lletz procedure the discharge/bleeding sorted itself out swiftly. All tests since that I’ve had the results by letter within a week. Worth ruling its out.

Other possibilities- ovarian cysts? These can come and go with ovulation apparently and unless you ultrasound on the day might not be picked up.

Pain during or after exercise- any chance of inguial (sp) hernia? Causes lots of weird sensations around the join between abdomen and thigh

I will look into the hernia thing thanks.

Feeling sore and crampy tonight and abit of blood again. I was wondering cysts too. They've never seen any but I've always had irritation around that area. Not sure why the pains flaring up abit tonight. Clearly something is wrong. I am abit worried. But the drs never can see you on the day here.

Have you gotten an appointment yet op?

steppemum · 14/10/2020 11:21

Have you ever been seen by an gynacologist instead of the GP?

If not, I would aks for a referral.

Hi first time using this but I am so worried, I am 21 years old and I've got a 2 year old, I got the contraception jag but it ran out in September, for the last 4/5 months I've had really irregular periods, bleeding all the time inbetween periods and even after sex I have been to the gp about 3 or 4 times now and each time she has examined me but because of my age I can't get a smear test she also took my bloods and it all came back fine, but then last night after having sexual activity (not sex) I've started bleeding today with the worse horrible pains but it's defo not periods because I only just finished them last week I am so worried incase it's cervical cancer has anyone experienced anything similar? I suffer with really bad anxiety and this is literally keeping me up all night worrying
