Issues with eBay payment on app. Keep trying or not??

Hello. In the wee small hours I tried to order something on eBay for my daughter. A brand new item, so no bidding involved. Paid with my card, as I don't have Paypal. I've never had issues before, although can't say I'm a prolific eBay user.
I received an email from eBay a minute or two after 'purchasing' the item, to let me know that my payment would need to be resent. I noticed that the payment appeared as 'pending' in my online banking, but then promptly disappeared from there. Same thing happened when I tried a second time. I'm wary of trying again, even though no money has left my account.
The funds are definitely there, so this can only be an eBay issue. Not sure how common this is. Any ideas on how I should proceed? I really would like to buy this item!
Thanks in advance Smile

Can you try it via the website? I find the eBay app to be extremely dodgy at the best of times!

Thank you. Guess I could try, but I'm pretty sure my passwords aren't saved to it!

@vanillandhoney

Yaay, did it on the website and it seemed to go through fine. And my passwords were already saved, which was a bonus!
Thanks for the top tip Smile although Lord knows why I didn't think of it myself Blush

Oh that's good, I'm glad it's sorted!

Personally I've given up with the eBay app - it always seems to be full of bugs but I've never had any issue with the website :)
