Pringles addiction.

SpongePuddingMama · 09/10/2020 19:16

I am literally addicted to salt and vinegar pringles - they are amazing!! I always make sure to stock up when they are on offer as the full price of £2.50 is frankly obscene. Anyway, my DH is similarly addicted and always hides the pringles so that he can have them to himself!!! Today I found them hidden in the shoe cabinet! AIBU to ask for some suggestions of revenge Grin? (lighthearted!!!)

Ltb

Be careful with those, they are highly likely to be carcinogenic due to the way they're cooked, not to mention the salt overload. I love them too but have them only once in a blue moon.

imfatletsparty · 09/10/2020 19:23

The sour cream ones are laced with crack.

So are lime Doritos...

ChocolateCherrybomb · 09/10/2020 19:23

Take out the Pringles and eat them.

Replace with some own brand snack (wierdly shaped and/or flavoured if possible) and tell him they mutated because he put them next to his stinky shoes.

SpongePuddingMama · 09/10/2020 19:27

Grin at mutated alien pringles

😂😂
I opened the thread after reading the title thinking 'wow, it's not just me'
Every single weekend we have pringles as a treat, I'm craving them now but wont have a shop delivered until the morning.
We usually go for sour cream and onion but will try get the salt and vinegar this weekend to test them out Smile

Elizaaa · 09/10/2020 19:29

I love the salt and vinegar ones too but they make the inside of my mouth peel.

mommybear1 · 09/10/2020 19:29

Try the Aldi knock offs of Pringles - delicious 😋

Asterion · 09/10/2020 19:31

Eat the Pringles, then replace the tube with a pair of his socks in Grin

SpongePuddingMama · 09/10/2020 19:32

@Elizaaa I know - they make my lips white!!! But they taste so good that I ignore the burning!!! Grin

Oh my mouth is actually watering thinking about them

Even though they hurt my lips/mouth they're so worth it!

Marmite27 · 09/10/2020 19:47

@mommybear1

Try the Aldi knock offs of Pringles - delicious 😋
I concur. I was about to post the same.
BillywilliamV · 09/10/2020 19:48

I think we have been virtually living on them since working from home. I’m not sure that Covid isn’t just a plot by Pringles to increase sales..

HanPanPeg · 09/10/2020 19:49

I HATE it literally HATE it when you get a dud tube and it may as well be ready salted. I want my lips to sting.

AbsentmindedWoman · 09/10/2020 19:49

Came on to say I can't trust myself around the salt and vinegar ones Grin

I just don't buy them anymore! They do make me feel kind of weird after I eat them which I don't think is a good sign.

JoanApple · 09/10/2020 19:49

Prawn cocktail.

I'm dribbling.

stormy11 · 09/10/2020 19:50

I love them too. Co-op have salt and chardonnay vinegar crisps... they have an amazing taste too. I think you would like them.

SpongePuddingMama · 09/10/2020 19:53

Glad to hear that everyone else loves them as much as me!! They really are the only crisps that can make your mouth water! Grin

If the tub is open take out all of S&V ones replace with another flavor or sevral other flavors if you can , put about 10 S&V back on the top (you will need to eat the evidence ones you stole that you have been tampering with.) when he next goes to eat them convince him it must of been a production line error . Grin

Biscusting · 09/10/2020 19:58

Yes @stormy11 soooo good. I thought I’d had a stroke when half my tongue went numb.

I didn’t stop eating them. Figured I’d stop when my vision started going.

berryhead2013 · 09/10/2020 20:19

Yanbu but Aldi's version are much cheapness and just as good eat all the pringles

Epwell · 09/10/2020 20:22

set one on fire. you'll never eat one again.

roses2 · 09/10/2020 21:20

The Aldi ones have more punch in their flavour and are cheaper- have you tried them?

Slightlyunhinged · 11/10/2020 00:14

Definitely prawn cocktail here, but in the States they have lime and chilli which are amazing!

toodlepipsqueaks · 11/10/2020 00:17

Replace the contents with the ready salted version. Nothing worse than not getting that zing - that'll learn him Wink
