it annoys me more on the bus when i have 10 different "tunes" playing around me.

The kids near me have taste, rarely is it dance music, I did get some odd looks when DD said to me 'mummy, you have that song dont you?' at, yes, MCR haha.
I'm only twenty flippin six for goodness sake, do i really look too old to have heard of them??
Oh and on the way out they had Lostprophets on, who I was going to see that night, I really wanted to say something

I love MCR, and I'm 36 - you're never too old.
however, most of this sh**e squeaking out of tinny little phones has the iota of musical merit it (probably doesn't) contains squeezed and distorted out of it by a 1cm sq speaker.
it drives me mad

It happens on the trains as well, really tinny and awful rap. I don't mind anyone with a mp3 who have headphones.

I felt like recording something really dreadful like the Birdie Song and playing it full blast next to them. If I have to put with their crap music first thing in the morning , then they can put with mine.

We had to sit on the bus for 40 minutes last weekend listening to someone at the back playing the final countdown remixed by the chipmunks - that damn song was bad enough the first time around!

Thankfully my eldest 2 are into things like MCR too & since I'm a fan of the Pixies, White Stripes, Linking Park etc I'm quite happy with that

when i was pregnant i used to catch the same bus to work everyday and there was always the same lad playing his awful music at the back.i use to try and ignore it and even get off a couple of stops earlier!
one morning after a sleepness night and feeling very hormonal i got up ,waddled to the back off the bus and gave him a gobful...i got a big cheer and a round of applause off the rest of the bus and the last time i caught that bus he was wearing earphones

I smile to myself knowing that they are advertising themselves as worth of being robbed.
