Just started the pill, am I worried to be anxious?

Never been on the pill before but have pcos and will be trying to conceive soon. Doctor has advised me to go on Diane 35 for 3 months to reset my hormones alongside metformin.. My doctor said a lot of women fall pregnant the first month off of the pill with pcos. Then will try clomid if that doesn't work. Just wondering about the pill in general and experiences on it?

I love the combined pill as contraception. It regulates my hormones and stops me getting spots, my skin always looks great on the pill. I also run packs together so can be period free for 3 months at a time.

There is a slight increase in blood clots is that what you're worried about? Your doctor will have checked your risk factors (blood pressure, age, weight and whether you smoke) and deemed it safe for you. Some women put on weight on the pill so watch that, although it sounds as though you're going to be taking it for a very short time?

You just need to get in the habit of remembering to take it at about the same time every day.

Good luck with ttc Smile

Yeah it will be 3 to 6 months I'll be on it. Yes I guess u hear scary stories and it just makes you nervous right, and I guess as I haven't taken it before. I am looking forward to clear skin as my hormones have been wrecking havoc these past few months, I've currently got an awful break out on my jawline which is where I usually break out. What pill are you on @smileyclare and how long after starting the pill did you see the benefits to your skin?

I'm on Celeste but Diane 35 is The One for treating acne and also stops excess hair on your face (not saying you have that!) So that sounds great for you. I saw a difference in a couple of weeks in my skin. Good luck
