My mum bought my son a atm money box from a charity shop, she got it home and it wasn’t working, she tried new batteries etc but was convinced it was working.
She has just taken it back to the shop, they said it did work but needed to be reset, he reset it and showed my mum it was working but then told her he could no longer give it to her as it needs to be quarantined for 3 days?! Am I missing something?? I can understand if he was reselling it to someone else but he couldn’t give it back to her apparently. AIBU to think this is madness? She said it’s cos he initially refunded her as it wasn’t working but when he realised it needed resetting he could no longer sell it back to her
