...when I cannot even visit my family in the UK )grown up kids in north of Scotland, mum down in Wales) Sad. Last thing on my mind is booking a holiday. Anyone else feel the same?

Who is emailing you? Can you block or unsubscribe from marketing lists?

022828MAN · 07/10/2020 07:15

I'm guessing it's just an automated email ad from someone you've booked with before? No biggie...

HasaDigaEebowai · 07/10/2020 07:15

Just unsubscribe.

QuentinInQuarantino · 07/10/2020 07:16

No... a lot of travel companies are in their death throes, the emails are their swan song...

You feel annoyed they feel desperate. Just delete them, don't you have a junk mail folder?

HUCKMUCK · 07/10/2020 07:16

I would normally be irritated by this but I feel for people working in the travel industry at the moment. Everyone’s just trying to stay afloat.

FelicityPike · 07/10/2020 07:17

Yes you are. Companies are just trying to survive. Unsubscribe to their mailing lists.

Really? There are a lot of things to be irritated by, but average marketing isn't one of them. Block, unsubscribe or ignore if you find this so irritating. And perhaps consider getting some help if something so trivial is bothering you that much?

Aw, thanks @Moondust001: your compassionate response shines brightly; I'm already running to the phone to get counselling for posting a trivial thread question on mn about missing my mum and kids.
