I've written about this but there's been a new development. Work promised me to come back from maternity leave to a different role. Business needs changed during the pandemic so had to go back to my current role as that's what I was needed the most. Even before my first day back I had a chat with my boss (CEO) and he told me that he had a role in my mind that would.be a hybrid but that he thought it would my skillset it the best possible way. (That was July). A month ago, (now with a shiny new HR person) a internal promotion was advertised but I couldn't apply because of said promised role. Another different role was advertised last week and this time I directly asked to my boss who then said something in the lines of "I'm getting everything together now for your new and will let you know ASAP once it's done". To me it seems he's just still delaying it... Or am I just being negative?
