To be furious that self isolating child attended football training

My dc’s class are all currently self isolating for 14 days due to two positive cases, they were all sent home on Friday. I learned yesterday that one of the other children (they are teenagers) attended football training and played in a match on Saturday.

Aibu for being absolutely furious at this blatant flouting of the rules and complete batshittery?
I like his mum and thought she was a sensible person, but ffs. I’m tempted to inform the school, but I am quite friendly with his mum and don’t want stir things and cause trouble. Wwyd?

More important is that whoever runs the football team knows.

Probably a Man United supporter given the way some of their players behave.

I would contact the school and the football team and ask that they keep quiet about who reported it. If any of those kids do potentially have it, they need to know to stay away from vulnerable relatives.

I'd contact the football team and let them know. Some people are so stupid it hurts.
