Red flag?

Browsing Instagram this morning I noticed the person I have been dating for 3 weeks has posted a coupley looking photo of us both. I was a bit Hmm that he’d put a photo of us both up together so soon, but then noticed he’d put a background in which is those glittery lights with a heart in the middle!?

AIBU to see this as a massive red flag? Is he just a bit keen? I’ve only spoken to him for 3 weeks so we barely know each other.

I think you're overreacting!

SadSack39 · 03/10/2020 12:45

Hes trying to make someone jealous.. an ex maybe?

BeardieWeirdie · 03/10/2020 12:47

Are you dating an 8-year-old girl? What a weirdo. He’ll be telling you he loves you on date 3 next.

3 weeks!! You’ve only just met! That’s very bloody weird and I can’t believe other poster thinks you’re overreacting 😂

AlwaysCheddar · 03/10/2020 12:53

That’s weird!!!

I don’t think it’s necessarily a red flag, but perhaps it’s an insight into his personality.

If this was me, I wouldn’t see the bloke again. Over sharing on social media and using filters on photos is really not my style Grin

YANBU OP! I had something similar happen to me and the guy turned out to be an absolute psycho.
Shouldn't generalise but it made me wary. Run for the hills while you still can!

It is a bit soon for that kind of malarkey imo , particularly as he has not told you about it , I recon he is either trying to show of / show you off to his mates , as pp said make a ex jealous , shut his DM up as she is always telling him he should settle down with a nice girl .

In any case I would back off a little , dont run for the hills yet but perhaps the next few meetings should just be a coffee or other short meet up , no evening meals / cinema / pubs / etc
