I don't get all the pity and fondness for Melania. She knew what she was getting into when she married aging multi millionaire Donald Trump. She wouldn't have looked twice at him if he was a pot washer in a hotel. She chose money over marrying a decent human being. That said, I do enjoy seeing the public rejections of affection she regularly supplies us with.

They're in a far better position than most people against the virus.

Why the sympathy for Melania? She's as complicit as he is, no one forced her into bed with the orange overlord, she went willingly.
If her life is miserable then that's her own fault.

Why? I don’t wish anyone ill, but what about all the other people who are ill? Why them above anyone else - they will have the very best medical care money can buy and remember not everyone in the US has access to decent (or any) healthcare.

Yes but people with severe symptoms don't just go from symptomless to severe in a split second. Mild symptoms today could easily worsen tomorrow, the next day, etc.

Frankly it'd be better for the world if he karked it, seeing as if he recovers it will only add fuel to his fire that it is "not serious."
