Flu jab for 15 month old

My 15 month old son is at nursery and I’m Kind of stressed out he will catch the flu. Nhs doesn’t give the nasal spray till they’re 2 years old. I can’t find anywhere else that will do for under 2s and and I read that even if they do get it , it won’t be that effective. Is it worth me finding a private clinic or am I being ott?

I don't have any advice but it really is just fucking stupid that the NHS don't offer it before 2. Maternity leave ends well before a child is two so where the hell does the NHS think those children are all day seeing as they think they aren't mixing with other children like two years olds are.

I don’t think it’s safe until age two.

The spray isn't licensed for the under twos. They can have the jab though- some pharmacies will do it.

@JunkCrumpet I agree!

I think I need to find a pharmacy that does it
