I recently watched the social dilemma on Netflix, it's basically a documentary about how social media and search engines are changing how we think and our beliefs without us realising. Also how people are becoming more extreme in their views as they get tailored "feeds" based on what seems to grab their attention.
In it, they say:
"When you go to Google and type in 'climate change is' you're going to see different results based on where you live and the particular things that Google knows about your interests. That's not by accident, that's a design technique".
I'm not particularly passionate about climate change, but I am curious to see what results you get when you type in "climate change is" into Google, Just curious to see how much the results can actually vary in the UK (or wherever you live). Post a screenshot if you'd like to play along.
