Not sure if there is another thread, but it’s sad news, she was 78.
The greatest feminist song ever sung by a formidable woman

Difficult to think of her as old and suffering from dementia

Another building block to the Feminism of the 70s.
Apparently she thanked a female god at an award ceremony.

You And Me Against The World is another beautiful song Helen used to sing, and her version of I Don’t Know How To Love Him from JCS is great.

Oh no, that's made me sad, I loved her in Pete's Dragon and Candle on the Water is one of my all time favourite songs. The owner of the little hotel I used to clean at weekends as a teenager used to blast her music out of the sound system when all the guests were out too.
