Aibu to think school is wrong to do these things?

My two oldest children are in primary school. One is in year 6 and one is in year 3. The school have been strict about their covid safety, regularly handwashing and in class bubbles. We recently had teachers test positive so the kids were off for a week. Now back and the safety is still in place..or so us parents think. My eldest son told me that today he was sent to the school gates with a teacher to collect late children from another year group and to take them to their classrooms on his own.
Aibu to think that

  1. How is that keeping to a bubble and that shouldn't have happened?
  2. Why should my child be put 'at risk' because some parents can't be bothered to get their kids to school on time?
  3. Why couldn't a teacher/TA from the year group of the late kids come and get them?

Also Aibu to think why is one child from my sons class being given special treatment and able to do work from home on video call with the class because the parents are scared of covid when everyone else has to go to school by law? Before anyone jumps on me, I know the parents of this child well and none them are vulnerable etc they are however lazy.

I feel fuming about all of this so aibu?

You would be best asking the head at your school. Every school has a different set up and none of us will be able to answer.

Agree re your child collecting the other children but you simply do not know why the other family is allowed to access education that way, you are making assumptions.

Reasonable to ask them about it.

Unreasonable to go off on one without hearing their side.
