From my child.

For context, my son is a freak who prefers sweets to chocolate. Whereas, I love chocolate, especially chocolate orange.

Now, MIL has bought my son a chocolate orange Twirl. WIBU to keep it for myself and fob him off with some Haribo?

I had the chocolate orange twirl for the first time today. Afterwards I considered whether it would be ok to go to the wholesalers to buy a box for myself and hide it.

Chocolate orange is a flavour second only to banofee in my personal vomit stakes! For my 50th birthday, OH bought me a Terry's abomination, shall we say he never did it again!

Now you definitely are being unreasonable!

Agree re those maple matchmakers!

Aha, suspect the orange twirls are a marketing experiment then! Have only seen them occasionally, in our little nearby (very busy) sub post office....

Toddlerteaplease · 29/09/2020 18:44

Hmm. The maple match makers are a bit weird.

Lollypop701 · 29/09/2020 19:00

Orange Chocolate should be banned...if it has to be flavoured only mint or salted caramel should be allowed. You all need professional help (other than keeprocking!)

Notenoughchocolateomg · 29/09/2020 21:37

Definitely agree that the maple matchmakers are a bit weird! I've got an orange twirl...but I'm trying to be good. I have a serious problem with chocolate. OP I would steal it without a seconds thought and lob haribo at him instead. How weird are kids who prefer sweets to chocolate.
