People with kids who insist on using the adult only pool

I have 2 kids myself, grown up, so I have been a parent on holiday too.. 8 pools in the hotel, including special kids pools.. Children welcome and catered for at 7 of those... But people insist on using (with kids) the one pool officially designated for adults and designed to be quiet... The "relax pool". Not relaxing with children screaming and splashing.

AIBU to think it's slightly selfish behaviour on their part?

I'd just love to go on holiday with just one pool, never mind eight!

Got a big chuckle @lojoko!
We were on a riverboat tour and there were several children who were misbehaving so my male friend told them off as the parents weren't doing a thing to correct the behaviour...one kid points at my friend and yells over to his mum, "Mummy! That man is being mean to me!".. I almost fell overboard from laughing so hardGrin

Goodness you’re so cool Hemlock. You really put a child in their place.

It would have been just as easy to draw the child’s attention to her mistake without the clumsy rudeness, surely?
