I need to decide what bath to get and I have this week. I can’t leave the house and even if I could I can’t get so a bath showroom, so if you have a freestanding bath and you are bath Person please help me. I am a big person not a little person, tall and weight so help me find one that fits me please!

Mine isn’t freestanding (alcove) but I just bought mine on the internet and was shocked how different the room inside the bath is between two ‘same size’ baths. I originally bought a bath with too wide arm rests that barely fit a child inside. I sent it back and learned that the important thing to look at is the VOLUME of water that will fit inside the bath, not the length/width of the bath...

So basically get one with as big a volume as you can!

Check out Victorian Plumbing online op, we ordered our bath from there only it's an offset corner one. They have alot of choice in different sizes and widths.

We got a slightly narrower one than before but my arse fills it side to side. Not great. I had wide hips when I was 8 stone, after two kids and middle aged spread my bum dams the bath. Check the internal dimensions.

Yes look at the internal dimensions. We were looking at 800/900 width baths to make up for no shower cubicle, but some of the wider ones were actually smallest internally. Also, check if they have straight sides or not - which gives more room to the bottom of the bath.

Check out Omnitub - they're very deep and have some unusual sizes..
