have been having my hair cut by her on and off for about 8 years

i feel that she isn;t very up to date and doesn't know how to style it properly and use the razor and thinning scissors and i never feel that she has done a very good job

i have stayed with her though because she only charges £15 although i have to wash my own hair nd it is my electric that is being used - and because obv she comes to the house and the kids can just get on and play

but now i have had my hair cut quite short - not by her- and i love it and just donlt think she will be able to replicate it without butchering it and it also costs only a tenner more to go elsewhere

what should i do i feel like i am being awful but i don;t want her to come again and i will have to call her and cancel my appt and make an excuse about not making another.....aaargghhh

Just call her and cancel the appt that you have got and if shes asks what date you want instead, just say you will let her know, as you've got so much going on at the moment that you dont know when it's gonna be.

good idea will say they have changed my hours at work - she's a lovely woman and i don't want to offend her

YANBU

You're the customer. If she can't provide what you want, thats your perogative. It might be helpful to her to let her know why - that your new style requires razoring and that doesn't seem to be her thing. Sometimes people need feedback to know what skills to aquire/update.

If you bump into her on the street with your new short hair, just say that you were collared by a trainee on the street who offered you a free restyle (most city's have training academies for the likes of Toni & Guy, Vidal Sassoon etc.)

city's? cities!

your right - i have told her that before when i have been else where that i has been razored and she looks at the ends goes no it hasn;t and just cuts it how she wants i will call her this afternoon and let her know i need to cancel
