AIBU with childcare costs

Here is the scenario:

DD’s dad has recently (in the last few months) decided he wants contact and for the last three weeks has been having her on a Monday and Tuesday night.

I pay for childcare on these days as I have always done - but am I right in thinking the childcare costs on these days are now his responsibility? Since he has been having her these two days/nights he has been paying less child maintenance but he thinks I am still liable to pay for childcare for these two days. I don’t. AIBU?

I thought maintenance was calculated out to include costs for living expenses (like childcare if needed) and then all other costs were for the parent who the child lives with? So he would pay you then you pay for everything the child needs? I may be wrong I'm just going by my situation and what CMS told me.

I still may be wrong I am no good with stuff like this but a quick search seems to say your ex is right, the maintenance he pays is for his share of your childs day to day living expenses. Though i totally get it doesn't go far at all.
