Stuck on ideas for what me, DP and our 1yo can do today. I can't face another day sat in the house all day, I WFH all week too so just need to get out Sad

What are you doing?

DH has taken the children to his mum's so that I can prep for an interview (which I will get back to in a minute.)

Why don't you just bundle up and go for a walk near a woodland or beach or something then grab a nice coffee somewhere?

V2Hod · 27/09/2020 13:25

We have just been on a big walk to try and spot some cars and lorries. Yesterday I went for an hour long drive and a wonder round B and M just to get out the house! It's hard with a baby who can't wear a mask but keeping them in the pram and not letting them tough anything helps

CakeRequired · 27/09/2020 13:28

I am being highly lazy and am doing nothing. Had loads of tidying plans and the most I've achieved is writing a list of what I want to do. Grin

MissConductUS · 27/09/2020 15:04

Doing Zoom church now. Smile

Later I have some cooking to do for the week, then a Zoom call with DS at uni and my lovely MIL.

I already did a 3 mile run, took DD to her part time job and stopped for a quick shop at the posh Italian supermarket.

Bairnsmum05 · 27/09/2020 15:07

Lazed about this morning, had a lovely walk there, now going to do housework. Nothing exciting but suits me most weekends 😊

Madein1995 · 27/09/2020 15:08

Ive had a day of tidying today. Ive pulled out all my wardrobe and cupboard, cleaned, chucked out rubbish, got a bsg together of toiletries wnd clothes for womens refuge. Currently gone to sainsbos for some ibuprofen. My bedroom is a bombsite atm- clothes and hsngers all over the bed, hair brushes in the floor, contents of knicker drawer strewn on bed, important docs on bed etc. Need to dust then put away then hoover.will then prob go for a nice walk walk to field nesr mine then sit on grass looking at sun

girlicorne · 27/09/2020 15:09

We ve been at a theme park all weekend for DS 11th birthday tomorrow. If I were you I d go for a walk in the woods or country park if you have one near with coffee and cake afterwards 😀 it’s not easy at the minute to be spontaneous with so much needing to be booked in advance but they are my favourite things to do if I just want to get out for a couple of hours!

DustyMaiden · 27/09/2020 15:12

Visiting DD for dinner. Eating pineapple upside down cake. Going home to try out my new extra fat duvet.

MotorwayDiva · 27/09/2020 15:12

All morning at the playground, had icecreams, now back home for chill out and housework

Notimeforaname · 27/09/2020 15:18

I'm still in bed. No plans to move.

dancemom · 27/09/2020 15:25

In a hotel! So lucky, just going to the Victorian spa before dinner then back up to the room for snacks and chilling on the big comfy bed - bliss!

LatteLover12 · 27/09/2020 15:31

Building a model solar system with big DS, having sofa snuggles with 10 day old little DS.

DP is on Sunday lunch duty 😊

Pickypolly · 27/09/2020 15:31

Lawn mowed, weeding & tidying for, outside furniture covers put on, edges strummed.
2 loads of washing done, and out in the sun to dry, beds stripped, meal planning and food shop done, bathroom cleaned, everywhere hoovered, living room cleaned.
Sunday roast on the menu for tea, bath then into clean sheets 😊
Now relaxing watching schits creek before starting to make tea.
A productive day.

bwfcchick88 · 27/09/2020 15:32

Put a load of washing away, stacked the dishwasher, applied for a job, video call with family now I'm sitting in the garden with my cat!

choirmumoftwo · 27/09/2020 15:36

Lovely walk on Arran coastal path, lunch out then back to holiday cottage for a beer and a read. It's a beautiful day here.

redlockscelt · 27/09/2020 15:39

Not a lot, watched some tv, did the laundry and housework. The DCs have both got a cold so we have stayed in.

DanielRicciardosSmile · 27/09/2020 15:42

I'm sitting in my pyjamas with a cup of coffee currently. I watched the grand prix earlier and I'll go sort out some laundry in a bit.

Sorry, not very inspiring I'm sure!

Vivana · 27/09/2020 15:44

I've been at work since 7am and soon as stored opened in came the panic buyers. I'm so stressed and tired from it all now. But now I'm at home going to chill watch TV till my online shopping comes and probably sleep

dementedma · 27/09/2020 15:47

Took a load of stuff to the recycling centre. Cleaned kitchen. Cleared out summer house to make it all hygge and cosy for winter. Read in the sun with a cold beer. Now in the bath.

ghostyslovesheets · 27/09/2020 16:10

got up - went to boot camp - it was off so me and a friend walked for about an hour

home - drop DD3 at her friends, drop DD1 at work (dd2 at her dads) - gut DD3's room, dismantle chest of draws, stick loads of crap in car - drive to tip - get rid

mow the lawn, put the bins out, now about to start ironing

DD3 will be home at 4 and DD1 at 6 but they are getting dropped off

BigBreastedMumma · 27/09/2020 16:17

Nursing a cold. Sad about to have a shower while husband cooks us all Sausages & mash with peas & gravy! Then back to bed before my night shift. Zzzzz.

StCharlotte · 27/09/2020 16:25

Just got back from a National Trust garden (finally got round to booking a slot - not got the best value from our membership this year Grin). Met another couple there and went round together. It was lovely but bloody cold!

Did lots of housework yesterday so can put my feet up today and am going to make some more tea and read a couple of house magazines before I make dinner.

SillyYak · 27/09/2020 16:29

Went for a stroll with a friend, then picnic in the woods with DH, DD7 and DS3mo. Came home, via M&S, for tea and cake, then made DD costume for school tomorrow. DH cooking roast while I'm letting DS nap on me and listening to DD singing upstairs.

Feellikedancingyeah · 27/09/2020 16:36

Are you near a zoo or aquarium? We've visited both recently and very quiet due to limited capacity. Have to book first though

PurBal · 27/09/2020 16:38

@StCharlotte my life membership cost over £1k and now they're talking about reducing the offering!!

We did some diy on the hose today then relaxed this afternoon.
