City break

Is it a stupid idea to go away next weekend ?
Family of 4 . Hotels are cheap, we’ve not been away at all this year, some still working from home and climbing the walls. We need a change of scene.
Is anyone going away at all?

We're going away in a fortnight. Not a city break, 5 nights in a house by the sea. Can't wait.

Brazen That sounds lovely! Would do the same if we could.

We’ve not even been into our nearest city since March. Feeling a bit trapped at the moment!

I went to London last week. It was lovely. Go soon, if you really want to, while the weather might still be good. Just being somewhere different was so good.

Don't know about other cities but London hotels are pretty much giving it away, by their standards, at the moment.

Go for it, we're currently on a city break in Athens and it's bliss

Lolaloveslemonade · 27/09/2020 12:34

We’ve booked!

You’re right Ghostly £69 Per room for a Saturday night 5 mins from everything! Couldn't believe it! We’ve stayed there before at the weekend and it was close to £200 per room Shock!

Can’t wait! We just need to get out of the same 4 walls! The swanky hotel is just the icing on the cake! 😂
