Sprained my foot on Sunday and struggled through work on Monday but made it worse because I'm on my feet all day so told DH that I would be taking a couple of days off to rest my foot. He came off the phone to his Mum (ex-nurse) last night so I asked if he'd told her I'd been off work. He said yes, she hoped my cold would be better soon. Cold? WTF???? Tried to embarrass DH at breakfast today my asking my 5 year old DS why Mummy had been off work and he thought I had a cold too! However, my 2.5 DD put him straight, bless her. Perhaps they think I always hobble about like this! Sorry - rant over!
