Tbh in 2020 I don't think this is a 'man' thing.

So many of my DH friends wives are like that and DH said his friends are constantly complaining about it.

So yes YABU by being sexist.

Let me guess, is he a "real man"? Does he live for football and a swift half with his mates? Would he think twice about twatting someone in the face for looking funny at him? Does he sentimentalise about "the kiddies" while playing no meaningful role in their lives?
