I always get sore aching teeth when I have a bad cold! Not unusual for me!

Peccary · 25/09/2020 15:22

I get this with a sinus infection

marmite79 · 25/09/2020 15:22

Just to add, I believe it's all down to your sinuses!

LM101 · 25/09/2020 15:22

Do you have any pain across the bottom of your eyes and down the side of your head to your ears? Might be sinus infection I get them all the time and it makes my teeth hurt. Google sinus pain and massages, might be worth trying to clear the sinus infection before it turns to Sinusitis

InSpaceNooneCanHearYouScream · 25/09/2020 15:23

It's neuralgia caused by congestion in the general area

Juke1 · 25/09/2020 15:37

Sinuses

Heatherjayne1972 · 25/09/2020 15:52

Pressure in the Sinuses presses on the nerves feeding the teeth
The only ‘feeling’ you’d get is toothache. It’s unpleasant
Probably a good idea to get your dentist to check your teeth tho op

hedgehogger1 · 25/09/2020 15:53

Sinuses. Get some Sudafed

Chicchicchicchiclana · 25/09/2020 15:53

Yanbu to ask.

MotherWol · 25/09/2020 15:55

I have a cold right now and exactly the same symptoms. I think it’s sinus congestion that’s putting pressure on the nerves. Over the counter decongestants and ibuprofen is helping, but it’s utterly miserable. Get some rest and hope it passes soon!

knittingaddict · 25/09/2020 15:56

Sinus infection. I think that's the best bet if you have a head cold. Take some medication that helps with sinusitis and see how you get on. If that doesn't help you may need some antibiotics.

AvoidingRealHumans · 25/09/2020 15:58

Agree with sinuses, obviously if cold clears and you still feel it then a dentist appointment is in order.
Hope you feel better soon

duvetaddict · 25/09/2020 15:59

My teeth always hurt when I have a cold, sometimes that's how I know I'm about to get one.

Dinocan · 25/09/2020 16:01

Sinus infection! I once made an emergency dental appointment convinced I had some kind of terrible abscess. She explained that often inflamed sinus’s cause pain in the tooth/gum because of where the nerves are.

Bargebill19 · 25/09/2020 17:02

Before it get ill, my upper jaw aches- not like tooth ache, but deeper in the bone and radiates outwards.
Bodies are weird.
