To ask what 5 things are you looking forward to doing today.

It’s Friday and I’ve woke up from a piss poor sleep courtesy of dog sitting barky chihuahua! I have a 12 hour shift in store for me today but I’m in a bloody good mood! So indulge me. What 5 things are you looking forward to today? I am looking forward to.

1. My bacon and sausage sandwich for breakfast!
2. My 5k run to work!
3. There’s a new episode of my favourite podcast out.
4. Being able to have the time to catch up on my tv programmes tonight as I’ve not had chance to even switch it on this week!
5. Have a very very large GIN!

I love how all these things are nice and simple but bring joy to people.

1. Dossing on the sofa
2. My chocolate bar
3. The dishwashing fairy visiting
4. The ironing fairy visiting
5. Hubby finishing work early

I've put it in that order cause I expect the fairies have been and gone by the time hubby gets home. Don't tell me you don't believe in fairies because then if my housework fairies don't show it means you've killed them. I'll know.

Omg I think I've lost it 🤣 Friday yeah? Wine tonight should sort me out 😂😂

1. My mid morning coffee
2. Not working today
3. Seeing my sister for the first time since lockdown... she lives miles away
4. Meeting up with my dad later for a meal
5. Can’t think of a 5th one but I don’t mind as I’m so excited about seeing my sister that I could burst/ cry... she’s the one person I’ve really missed during lockdown

1. Finishing at 3. And I will bloody finish on time.
2. My son coming home from school. He's 4 so I love hearing all about it still.
3. Son getting his mop cut. He looks like a mushroom
4. Watching an episode or two of Schitt's Creek
5. I found an unopened bottle of Baileys that is now nicely chilling in the fridge. That's all mine later.

1. Finishing a warm coffee - for a change.
2. Snuggling up with da who’23 weeks 18 corrected.
3. Hearing about the girls day at school when they finish at 320
4. Snuggling up together as a family to watch something-(I usually nod off)

5 Knowing that tomorrow is Saturday so we can (try) lie in and not be up at 6 for showers etc.

I've been up since 2 am so I'm off for a catch-up co-sleep. Nighty night.

1. Receiving my online grocery shop and putting it away - one of my favourite things to do!

1. Having a peaceful hour cuddling my baby while my toddler, older children and OH are our at nursery/school/work

1. Watching the final episode of Orphan Black

1. Putting my washing out on the line in the sun

1. Having a bath and putting on my new pjs that are currently en route and will be here soon :)

Ooh it took me a while to think of 5 but thank you for making me think about positive stuff

1- Clocking off from work
2- Picking my dc up from school and seeing their little faces
3- Just flopping on the sofa and relaxing watching a good TV programme and knowing work is done for a couple of days
4- Snuggling up under my duvet listening to the wind and rain and listening to the new Strike book on audiable
5- not setting the alarm for too early tomorrow.

Soundbyte you've reminded me that my online shopping is coming tonight! I'd forgotten.
I hate putting it all away but I will look forward to eating my chilli coated peanuts that I've ordered!

Being in a quiet house
Using my new skin care that DD ordered for me (it's her thing, skincare)
The bag of trail mix in the cupboard.

The latte I’m just about to make
A 3 day weekend
The KitKat Santas that I snuck on the Tesco order that is being delivered this afternoon
Planting tulip and daffodil bulbs this afternoon
A large glass of red after dinner

That’s made me feel a lot better about my day already!

This is good I need this. I'm off work sick and DH is working away so need to think of some positives.

1- drinking copious amounts of tea today
2- having a nice shower and washing my hair
3- as DH has been working away I'm going to do a date night tomorrow so going to meal plan
4- have cuddles and play with my new kitten
5- having a panini for lunch

What a lovely uplifting thread!

1- I have a day off today, it's lovely knowing I have a long weekend stretched out in front of me.

2- a sunny autumnal walk with dh and a pub lunch before the school run.

3- food shopping for the weekend. Having a full fridge gives me crazy levels of contentment.

4- Picking dc yo and getting to hear about their day. They're still quiet young and get excited to see me at home time. It's lovely.

5- A snuggly evening with all of us safe at home. Movie and a bottle of wine.

Day off work today so:-

1). A lie in, 3 cups of coffee in bed
2) meeting very good friends for lunch
3) not working until 6.00, leisurely ironing or gardening instead
4) probably not wine tonight as had a fair bit this week but have the possibility
5) reading the new Strike in bed which has just arrived, can’t wait, she writes so brilliantly and I’m in love with Strike ❤️😁

1.got an interview today nervous but hoping I get the job.
2.the large coffee on the couch im going to have after my interview with the feeling of thank god that’s out of the way now
3.picking up DS from my mums this afternoon and a nice walk home 🍂
4.takeaway for tea (Chinese)
5.watching the rest of a series I’m really into on Netflix

1. All chores done and I'm chilling on sofa with pup. Going to make a hot chocolate, watch This Morning and mindlessly unwind.
2. DP will finish work at lunchtime so at 3 I'll leave DC with him while I browse the local Next sale.

4. I've a huge chunk of Birthday Cake that needs eating.
5. New book to begin tonight in bed

5 is a bit ambitious, but I am very excited as today is MacMillan Cake day.

Friend who usually holds a coffee morning, is delivering pre-ordered cakes to everyone in exchange for on-line donations)
