To think some schools are not being transparent regarding their Covid infection

Our local print/ online media havepublished a list of schools where bubbles have collapsed, where year groups have been sent home and named schools closed for deep cleanse.

However, I am increasingly hearing of schools who are experiencing Covid infections and this is not even mentioned on their school website. A friend’s son was sent home because of a cough today and told to get a Covid test. My friend told me that two whole year groups are distance learning, again no mention of this in the local media or the school website.

I think it is in everyones interest to know what impact Covid is having on their community.

I wonder what the motivation is behind these schools keeping it quiet, especially when some schools have been transparent.

Should add that we are in mid/ high infection rate area.

Are they keeping it quiet, or is it just not news any more because it has become so common ans is coing to remain common throughout this academic year?

There is definitely a strong local interest, as parents are fearful that all the schools will close, and are trying to figure out what the hell is going on.
