When I was in my twenties and thirties and early forties, Sophia Loren, I even got a bloke shout it at a service station once, he was a really good looking suited and booted guy as well and as I walked past he said loudly “Christ you look like Sophia Loren” . I am very typically Italian looking so think that was the connection, I should be so lucky as to look like she did.
Past that it’s been work colleagues etc who said it, never strangers, the other one I used to get is rachel from thr thorn birds, when it was actually on in the eighties. but I think that was because my hair was similar and my height build.
I now look like a Knackered woman in her fifties 😃
